My Namaz Guide 🕌

Your path to talking with Allah

Namaz (Ṣalāh)

What is Namaz (Ṣalāh)?

It is an act of worship in which we pray to Allah at fixed times each day through specific words, actions, and postures. Namaz is a direct connection between us and Allah, showing obedience, gratitude, and seeking His guidance.

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:43): "And establish prayer (Ṣalāh) and give zakāh and bow with those who bow."

Qiyām (Standing)

Jalsa (Sitting between the two Sajdahs)
6. Jalsa (Sitting between the two Sajdahs)
After completing the first Sajdah, you sit calmly for a brief moment before going into the second Sajdah.
Say: "Allāhumma’ghfir lī"
(O Allah, forgive me)
Tashahhud (Sitting)
7. Tashahhud (Sitting)
Sit calmly after completing the required rakʿahs.
Say: "Recite At-Taḥiyyāt, Durood-e-Ibrāhīm and Allāhumma innī ẓalamtu"
In 2 rakʿahs, Tashahhud is done once after the second rakʿah with Tashahhud, Durood, and duʿā, then Salām. In 3 and 4 rakʿahs, Tashahhud is done twice: after the second rakʿah only Tashahhud is recited and one stands up, and in the final sitting Tashahhud, Durood, and duʿā are recited before Salām.
Salām (Ending)
8. Salām (Ending)
Turn your head to the right, then turn to the left.
Say: "Assalāmu ʿAlaikum wa Raḥmatullāh"
Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah. This completes the prayer.
After Salām
Raise your hands and make Duʿā. Ask Allah for forgiveness and help! 🤲
